Singapore has a few official languages that are spoken in most parts of the country, but English is the language of business and instruction. Most people are bilingual and know English and another language like Chinese mandarin, Malaya and Tamil[1]. Singapore's Economy is on the top 5 percent of the world and the standard of living is high. Major industries in the country are electronics and pharmaceuticals. The island is made up mostly of three ethnicities first is Chinese 74.4 percent, Malay 13.4 percent, Indian 9.2 percent, and the last 3.2 percent is made up of other ethnic groups[2]. The religions that are popular in Singapore is Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Taoism, and Hinduism. The relationship between Singapore and Malaysia had a little tension when Singapore became independent from them but other then that they have a good relationship[3]. The average temperature is between 25 degrees Celsius and 31 Celsius. Thunderstorms occur on 40 percent of all days. Relative humidity is in the range of 70 percent to 80 percent. April is the warmest month, January is the coolest month and November is the wettest month. One of the biggest issue that Singapore is facing is that people leaving and it's population is slowly decreasing[4]. Since Singapore is a multicultural country it's food reflects that and since it an island there is lots of sea food plates. Sports also reflect Singapore's multicultural background there's football (soccer), basketball, swimming, golf, tennis, and many more. The same goes with the small islands music.
